Privacy Policy

ReviewSleuth ("we") handles information in the browser extension "ReviewSleuth" (the "Software") as follows.

1. Information that stays on your device

The Software reads the Amazon pages you open (product pages and search results) on your device to grade their reviews. When you ask for a deep scan, or when Pro grades search results, your browser loads the related Amazon pages directly from Amazon. Grades, settings and the daily scan counter are stored in your browser (chrome.storage). None of this is sent to us or to any third party, and the Software contains no analytics or tracking.

2. Information we collect

Only when you buy or activate ReviewSleuth Pro:

• Your license key, a random device ID and a device name
• Payment identifiers (Stripe session ID and payment ID)

We use them only to issue, activate and verify licenses and to handle refunds.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its Link service (Managed Payments), which also handles sales tax. Card details are never sent to or stored by us. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for how Stripe handles your information.

4. Sharing

We do not sell information or share it with third parties except as required by law. Our license server runs on Cloudflare, Inc.'s services.
